What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in on the day of arrival is available from 3:00 PM.
Check-out is until 11:00 AM.
Subject to availability, early check-in from 1:00 PM (€25) and/or late check-out until 1:00 PM (€25) is possible.

Is there a reception?

The reception has limited opening hours; we are always available by phone for our staying guests.

Where can I park?

Hotel Kobalt has limited on-site parking. Costs for hotel guests €22.50 per night, reservation essential. Parking spaces can be booked directly when making a reservation. Don't see the option? Then the parking lot is fully booked for your desired dates.

How does the mobile key work?

On the day of arrival at 3:00 PM, you will receive the digital key via email and SMS. When opening the link, you will see three sliders: one for the front door, one for the back entrance, and one for your room door. Swipe the arrow on your screen from left to right, and the door will unlock. A keycard will be waiting in your room, which you can use for the rest of your stay.

Why do I have to check-in online?

Two days before arrival, you will receive an invitation for online check-in/registration to provide the correct guest information. Accurate guest details are required to successfully send the digital key, ensuring you can enjoy your stay immediately upon arrival without time-consuming procedures.

Is smoking allowed?

No, smoking is prohibited in and around the building.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible, and is there an elevator?

No, unfortunately, Hotel Kobalt is not wheelchair accessible. There are no special facilities for guests with reduced mobility, and the elevator starts from the first floor, so please note that there is a staircase to reach the first floor.

Can I pay for the reservation upon arrival?

No, all reservations are paid in advance. Depending on the chosen rate: non-refundable is paid immediately after confirmation, and the flexible rate is charged 3 or 7 days before arrival. Additional services such as parking, breakfast, or bike rental can be paid for on-site. We do not accept cash payments.

Can I store my own bike at the hotel?

That is possible at the back of the hotel.
If you have a bike rack on your car, we may ask you to remove it from the car.

Can I store luggage before check-in and/or after check-out?

Yes, it is possible to store luggage before check-in and after check-out in our dedicated luggage storage. Outside the reception's opening hours, you can call us for instructions.

Can I cancel my reservation?

That is entirely dependent on the chosen rate.

For a direct Hotel Kobalt reservation with a flexible rate (via website or email), changes and/or cancellations are free of charge up to 3 days before arrival. Within 3 days before arrival, one night's stay will be charged, or we offer the option to reschedule once, potentially with an additional cost.

For a reservation with a flexible rate made through a platform (Booking.com/Expedia), changes and/or cancellations are free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. Within 7 days before arrival, one night's stay will be charged. After the check-in time, no changes are possible, and no refunds will be issued.

A non-refundable reservation cannot be changed or refunded. In case of cancellation, no money will be refunded.

Am I better off with a direct reservation?

Yes, a direct reservation is always cheaper. Do you see a lower price elsewhere? Please contact us.

Can I have breakfast at Hotel Kobalt?

Yes, start your day by enjoying the breakfast box from Peppermint, delivered to your room door.
Delivery times: Mon-Fri 08:00, Sat-Sun 09:00.
Costs: €17,50 per person per day.
The breakfast box includes:
Croissant, granola yoghurt fruit bowl, bread roll, scone, boiled egg, blueberry jam, butter, clotted cream, cheese, sliced chicken breast, chocolate sprinkles, and fresh orange juice.

Hotel Kobalt does not have a breakfast room/restaurant.
Arranging your own breakfast is possible. All our rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine, kettle, refrigerator, cutlery, and tableware.
